OMG. So. I went on a mission today and found the comics store in town (and it's really really nice), and I was very good and almost didn't buy anythung that isn't directly realted to something I want to do a paper on (almost).

But.

There is a Battlestar Pegasus oneshot out.

And it's all about, you'll never guess ( omg, also, minorly spoilery for Razor though the comic itself isn't )

I'm not entirely sure where it is in the timeline - pre-series in any event - and I need to figure that out too. It's really, really interesting and a good bit of backstory for when I eventually get a chance to write about Cain, so, yes. I thought buying comics in general made me gleeful, but buying them in order to study them actually is even more with the fabulous.

OMFG, the opening to Razor could not be more tailor-made for me, or at least, what I want out of this episode, ( which is )

I have to go and be coherent and scholarly and stuff and talk to people who don't watch BSG AT ALL and it's going to kill me now, but. More cohesive thoughts tomorrow, or possibly later tonight after I've been drinking. *g* But, um, basically? HUGE SHINY LOVE, at least first round through.

OK, I started talking about Cain as a mannish woman stereotype here, and jennyo spun off and started talking about Roslin and cancer here, and ( now I have more thoughts. )
