OMG, you guys, there is no more BSG after tonight.

This is kind of sad-making.

I caught up on the last mumblety weeks of this season today (while lying on the couch being grouchy about still being sick dammit, because apparently my 'only watching BSG at the gym' has had a Pavlovian effect on me watching BSG at all...), and, you know... it's not all good. But I'm pretty okay with where most of it is going.

It's not the show I thought it was going to be, and it's thrown all of its fascinating classical allusions out the window or done nothing with them, but. It's still my show.

And it's still the reason I've written a lot of pretty good fic, and met a lot of people, and done a lot of academic work, and had a lot of fun. And I'm going to miss it.

So hey. *raises a glass* Here's to the good times, and to all of you I shared them with, or will in the future.

On the last extremely spoilery revelation of last night's ep, ( this is what I have to say )

So, things I have learned while IMDBing Michelle Forbes... anyone heard more about the mildly spoilery hints re the BSG webisodes? (note: these spoilers are not, despite my lead-in, of the "Admiral Cain is the last Cylon!!1!" variety. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but that's not this.) ( discussion behind the cut )

You may have seen this on your flist already. You may, in fact, have seen it using the exact same language, but it's 3:30am, so deal. ;)

Tomorrow I will be watching the last pre-hiatus BSG. And then, along with pirateygoodness, projectjulie, beccatoria, and millari, et al, there will be Twitterfic.

Basically, if the Cylons have Twitter and the Final Four are just finding out how to use all their facilities, you might end up with something like this. Femslash goggles function also activated, of course.
