Those of you who are in Edmonton and politically motivated might be interested in a couple of things coming up this Friday.

First, Jack Layton is doing a Q&A on campus, in the Alumni Room in SUB, Friday starting at 4:30. Unfortunately I can't make it to that one, boo.

Second, the main reason that Layton is in town is for the Edmonton-Strathcona Federal Candidate Nomination meeting, starting around 6:15 at the City Arts Centre, 10943-84 Ave. I will be more or less corralling volunteers at that one, so if you want to help out and get bossed around by me, show up around 5:45; otherwise, just come out and support the NDP.

It's even in my riding, isn't that exciting? *g*

Hi there, sorry to barge in on your journal like this but I'm the ft archiver for Wednesday who (has a few good real life/personal reasons but still) totally forgot to post an update! I'm very sorry, and I don't know if you're already on top of this, because it's probably already late Thursday where you are, but I don't want to leave you to just pick up my slack here. So, could we collaborate on this, like me do the first half pages of the watchlist, you do the second half pages, or something like that?

Hah, excellent timing, I was just going to start getting things going. I'm just getting some hair dye in while I update, heh, so give me five or ten minutes and then meet me on AIM or Gmail Chat, and we'll figure things out? I'm sunfadedcolours on both.

Heh, and I'm already failing to be helpful by not being on any of those instant messaging thingies (they scare me) but okay, so far the last update is down on page skip=120 (http://girlwatch.livejournal.com/friends?skip=120), about to be pushed to skip=140, which means 6 pages to get through.

How about I do the first three or so pages, plus the comments made to the last update post, then email them to you (or you email me the last three pages) then put them together. Any overlapping shouldn't be too hard to sort out.

That's the first three starting from the last update, btw. Whew. Hope that wasn't confusing!
