Robert Barrington Leigh has been missing since the evening of Sunday, August 13, when he left home on his mountain bike to check out the Edmonton Folk Fest. No sign of him whatsoever has been seen since. Visit findrobert.ca for information or to assist.

Robert was one of my techies at Old Scona, when he was in grade 10 and I was in grade 12. He is soft-spoken, an utter sweetheart, and easily one of the smartest people I have ever met. I can't comprehend of a reason why he would disappear on his own - the boy turned down MIT because he wanted to stay in the country to study, for crying out loud. If you're in the city, please do what you can to spread this around.

Eek, I didn't realize you knew him. His mother volunteers for the NDP, and so a lot of people I know are quite freaked out.

I hope they figure out soon what happened to him.

I hope it turns out better than when my friend, Jutta (http://www.martica.org/~blick/JuttaBentz.html), went missing from her workplace. It's been six years and she still hasn't been found.

I keep thinking he looks familiar, but that's probably just because I've seen the posters around. There's one at my work. Gah, it's awful, I hope they find him.
