[bsg 2x15]
Feb. 5th, 2006 05:52 pmGah, come home for dinner and I have so much to do! So of course, I have to talk about BSG first.
OK, I had not realized how much of a low last week's episode was until I saw this week's, which was fabulous, and I also mean that in the very very gay way. *g* Seriously, Starbuck's manpain is actually explicable! And the flashbacks were better! Yay! The energy of this episode was excellent. I have nothing against Jamie Bamber, but I don't think he brought the energy last week, and this week was just pumping in comparison. It was an actual adrenaline rush. *g*
You know, this week and last week were essentially the same story, really. Something to do with the fleet and its progress as the backdrop (black market versus mining ore) to a main plot of one of the characters working through a previous romantic entanglement, and that's interesting, and I probably wouldn't have chosen to air them back to back.
Laura's sure been saved in order to do a whole bunch of nothing so far, hasn't she? S'okay, I'm waiting for the big reveal. I never said patiently.
I am getting really tired of the "48 (96) hours earlier" thing, though. Once or twice, sure, but this is what, three episodes in a row now? Get oooooover the schtick, Moore.
Sometimes this show does really excellent things with episode titles, and this was one of those times, so kudos for that.
Also, Kara! Kara Kara Kara, who is not only all over Lee but has suddenly come over all dykeadelic, which is fantastic and makes me happy. *grins* Seriously, Kara and Kat are jonesing for each other and there was even a hint of Kara/Boomer. So. People need to be writing fic about that, yes?
And I loved seeing more Kara and Helo interaction, because they play off each other excellently.
I have nothing but an overall yay response to this week, so, you know, yay. *grin*

Date: 2006-02-06 12:54 am (UTC)Yeah, gods, Laura seems bored and pissy. Reason 90004 why Roslin's not human: they kept her alive for this? Seriously doubt it. At least, unlike Baltar and Six and Chief, she got to be in this ep.
