[Bones needs to stop making me cry.]

First off: omg next week is the SEASON FINALE of Bones? Curse you summer hiatus!
I watch Bones regularly, but I am rarely fannish about it (although I still want to write Brennan/Indira Varma's character from the 4th season opener), so I haven't been paying attention to spoilery stuff or anything. But I followed a link today, and Zap2It has compiled a list of episodes to re-watch before the finale next week. (link not spoilery for the finale, except I suppose in speculative terms)
For those of you who don't feel like clicking, the episodes are "The Pilot," "The Soldier on the Grave," "The Boneess Bride in the River," "The Passenger in the Oven," and "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole" (aka The 100th Episode Of Woe), with a bonus mention to "The End in the Beginning," as the finale is apparently titled "The Beginning in the End."
KEYSMASH OF EXCITEMENT!
Whooooo's up for a Bones marathon this weekend? Huh? Huh?
(While I am re-watching, I might also re-watch the one where Brennan dresses up like Wonder Woman. For nostalgia's sake - it's the ep that got me into the series in the first place... somehow... Well, I mean, Brennan dresses like WW, Angela dresses like 1988 Oscars Cher, and Cam dresses as Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman, no WONDER this ep was the perfect storm of "how to get me to watch a show.")
After this week's episode - which, unfairly, was the SECOND Bones ep to make me all sniffly in like a month, and yes of course the first one was the 100th - I am pretty sure I know the basic shape of what is to come, though I have no idea about the specifics. I am guessing Brennan is going to quit and go back to dealing with the less-recently deceased, thus causing the ENTIRE LAB to fall apart and Booth possibly to run away to some Top Secret-type assignment. I am not sure what's going to happen to/with either character's current significant other, but I am hoping for some non-definitive revisiting of the "Nothing can ever happen between us" bit, OBVIOUSLY. Based on this season so far, though, what I am actually expecting is something heartrending, with Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz acting their little HEARTS out. <3
Bones has always been pretty good, even though I came to it after having been a longtime fan of the original novels and initially found it hard to get pastthe fact that the show isn't set in Montreal the differences between the two. But the last season or so has just been amazing (especially since Emily Deschanel has put some weight back on or something, because there was a while there where I could not watch because her head looked too big for her body). All the actors have been absolutely pushing the envelope of awesomeness, the writing is consistently entertaining, and clearly there is actual arc-planning going on in terms of the overall structure. (Also, now I get to be all "I was there" location spotting. *g*) I think it's my favourite procedural currently airing. Or it would be if it would stop making me CRY.
