OK, Glee does the best guest stars.
I didn't love last week's ep, but I am definitely feeling the love again this week. Between Victor Garber showing up and Josh Groban guesting and Rachel using Barbra Streisand as her personal avatar (not that Barbra actually showed up, because that would just be too many levels of awesome), I think the show is right back up there.
I am thrilled that they're panning out and we're actually getting the 'supporting cast' in the spotlight for a change - I know it's only the third ep, but I was worrying a bit.
I am also interested to see what they're doing with Will's wife, Terri - I thought they humanized her a lot last week when she pulled back from all her crazy. Now it is an interesting mix of her being crazy ad her growing as a person. I imagine it's all going to come crashing down on her at some point in the near future, but it's a lot better than just having her as the stereotype that she started out as.
It beggared belief a bit that Mercedes couldn't figure out that Kurt was gay, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.
Oh, and the awkward awkwardness of the Will-Emma relationship and the Rachel-Finn relationship is not yet too over the top, which is impressive.
Also, Jane Lynch continues to be pretty much amazing.
In short: Loving. It.
