[in brief: squee!]

OK, I wanted to do a full
femslash09 recs post, but I'm not sure when I'll have time and I know there are a couple of people on my flist who will appreciate the amazing story I got, plus I just want to dance about and hug it to my chest and squee, so I am reccing that one and will hopefully eventually get around to reccing the other worthy stuff I've read.
But mostly: this is MINE! And it's AWESOME!
tl__dr wrote me The Robin Hood Clause, which is DCU Batverse, Batwoman/Catwoman, and makes me so happy. It's smart and snarky and the characterization is fantastic and it's all about Kate's inner emo proto-queer thirteen-year-old taking over when adult!Kate runs into Catwoman, and, heart.
"Batwoman, Batwoman. Don't be so ignorant. In this day and age, everyone knows that religion doesn't kill people. People kill people!" She leapt nimbly up onto the roof in front of them, and Kate really needed to do something about that inner teenager of hers, if the sight of a dangerous criminal with a tool of evil running away could make any part of her shiver with pleasure.
Go read it! :D
I try and treat the yearly femslash ficathon like Yuletide, in that I offer and ask for stuff a bit out of the ordinary, not what I'd normally write or read, and sometimes it absolutely pays off. Like this time!
(Also, to keep it all comics-y goodness around here, I wrote The Other Name for Home, also DCU, but Wonder Woman/Starfire. Funny how that worked out. *g*)
