House 2x24 Both Sides Now

First, just in case the finale didn't play with your emotions enough, everyone does really need to listen to Joni Mitchell doing "Both Sides Now" live. It is like a requirement for life.
And now the spoilers may commence!
I don't think it's any secret that I ship House/Cuddy (or possibly I just ship "Cuddy is awesome and needs more screen-time/preferably with her clothes off"), so YES this totally broke me, but in SUCH a good way. House's smiles when he thinks he totally got some! And the singing!
And yes, the shipper in me is going "But he actually went to Cuddy For Reals, and she totally broke her 'we have no personal relationship' thing within moments of saying it, that makes things all better," but even my shipperyness can't help but give gracelessly in to the perfection of this episode. Because my god Hugh Laurie BROUGHT IT. Everyone in that last bit - Anne Dudyk has been creeping me the fuck out for weeks, and RSL and LE were just damn good.
And he saw KUTNER, which, I was vaguely spoiled for, but totally didn't make things any less painful to watch.
It was just - so good through the whole thing, with Wilson giving House advice and the way it was played so that we did believe he'd slept with Cuddy (strippergram! WIN.) and the way he actually wanted to believe that he could turn into an adult if he tried hard enough but then he got SMACKED DOWN.
And the patient(s) - amazing, and also yes, when I think about the left brain-right brain divide I do get remarkably creeped out, and it was so wonderful to see that playing out in House, his illogical right brain wanting so much more than he can actually have. Also, Carl Reiner was AMAZING and I hurt for him, too.
Oh! And despite the fact that I totally have a thing for years of UST finally being resolved in blinding hotness, but I'm really glad that the whole Cuddy auditing an endo class just for House isn't canon (how canon can one of House's hallucinations be, given that they're more rational than most peoples' conscious? a question I imagine will be plaguing the fandom all summer). Because, Cuddy IS an endocrinologist, and I found the suggestion that her entire career was essentially based around House a bit much. So I'm glad that's not really true.
Taub was awesome in this one. Ditto Thirteen. Seriously, everyone just brought their A-game. LOVE.
And I'm guessing that no one besides Wilson and Cuddy know about his committal, because only Cuddy really looked at all worried during the wedding scene (way to go for unrealistic pacing there, though, seriously), which will be REALLY INTERESTING next season and I want it to be next season NOW.
I thought I had more coherent stuff to say, but apparently most of my brain is taken up by Hugh Laurie's puppydog eyes, omg. (I blame the fact that yes, I woke up at 4 to download and watch, and then went back to sleep. Shut up, it was worth it.) Hurts so good, man. I love this show.
