Which is not to say that the internets as a whole didn't call it. We just didn't beleive it would actually happen.
...so Lucy is a Time Lady? I'm not going to say Romana only because I DON'T WANT RUSTY TO FUCK HER UP. Either that or she... killed the Master in order to bring him back later? Which makes some sense, but actually makes more sense than I would generally associate with vapid Lucy who shares the Master's brand of madness so well. I mean, the chameleon arch artefacts don't seem to work like horcruxes - you can't have more than one at the same time, and you can only set them up through that particular machine. And that ring was clearly on the Master's hand when he was Saxon. So it can't be him in it, can it.
Not that I expect Rusty to maintain internal consistency or anything. But looking at it logically, that cannot possibly be the Master's method of returning. We'll see if our puny earth logic holds out. ;)
OK, the only local fen I know are only just watching the ep and I'm going to get the downstairs neighbours pounding on the ceiling if I continue to shout "WHAT" like I'm doing a Tennant.
