That was one of the most incompetent examples of gun training that I have ever seen, and I still don't fully believe that there is supposed to be Jack/Gwen chemistry, but dude I loved that scene in all its cheesiness. It's just very Jack to be all "Well, might as well feel her up while we're here, right?" *g* Although I was hoping for his response to Gwen's "doesn't it get lonely at night" to be "only if I'm alone" or osemthing along thos elines. Missed opportunity!
Yay for more Toshiko! She got lines this ep, maybe she will get development beyond 'covetous geek' shortly? Although now I want more Ianto lines.
Gwen was actually Not Shit for a fair bit of the episode, but here we are at the end with her weeping again. Not On. Also, dear Gwen, if you are on your mobile in Bernie's kitchen DO NOT SAY OUT LOUD "Oh, Bernie's a blackmailer?" *facepalm facepalm facepalm* (Number of times I said "Gwen you bloody idiot" out loud - three. I feel I should keep count.)
I liked it? It was not fabulous, but I felt like they were a believable team and stuff. And I do like everyone - even as much as I don't want to like Owen, I do, although I did talk at him a bit this ep too because he is creepy and obsessive. Shall definitely continue to watch, yes.
