I actually wrote this up on my laptop and brought it home on a zip drive. It's barely worth the posting, but I went to all that effort, so dammit, I'm posting it!

Well, I guess you really can film anything you've ever wanted to film in Vancouver, can't you? Mmmm, swim trunks. And niiiiice transition.

Aww, look, warm fuzzy Kara/Lee. *watches the shippers go nutty*

I'm not sure what I think about the heavy-handed insinuation that all of the Pegasus has gone bad in response to Cain's misguided idea of leadership. On the one hand, it makes for a hell of a divide. On the other hand, I really don't believe that Cain's as simply evil as she looks. There are a lot of ways to go bad during times of crisis.

And everyone believes that Gina's betrayal of Cain was very... personal, don't they? (If one or both of Cain and Gina were male, there would be fic up to my ears. Sigh.)

Heh. Speaking of heavy-handed, that's some wicked foreshadowing there. "Some people get what they deserve" indeed.

And would you look at that, an actual dimension to Cain's character. Excellent. *g* (Aside from the perving-on-Kara dimension, that is.)

*snerk* "Sterner stuff." Oh, my dear Commander Adama, you have nooooo idea.

Adama really is turning into a wuss.

And I am highly amused that Lee was so surprised to hear that Roslin was involved in the assassination decision. Although I note Adama never said it was her decision.

Wow. OK. This is definitely not the best writing this show has ever boasted. *cringes a little*

Ewwww. Half-naked Adama cut to Boomer? That is not pleasant.

I am really, really intrigued to see this sort of shift towards treating Cylons like - well, better than they were treated, at least. Last ep Adama apologised to Sharon, and this ep he actually talks to her. Iiiiinteresting.

You know, it would solve so many problems if everyone carried duct tape in their flight suits' gear. I'm just saying.

Heh. Two Sixes (interesting dice roll). I like the two of them. And oooh, Gaius! Look at that little manipulator go. Hee hee. I almost feel bad for poor betrayed Six.

Hey, where'd his sunglasses go?

Heeeeeee! Oh, yes, that really did just hit Starbuck's approval kink, didn't it? Good job Cain! Hee hee.

Ok, I didn't expect that. Hmmm. Points to Adama for not blindly following Roslin! That's more than I'd expected.

Oh, looook! The pure and true love of Kara and Cain has softened the evil one's heart! I am so very glad that that went that way. Because would you look at that, Cain's got layers! *does a little dance* (I like Cain, OK? I have a soft spot for the evil bitches of the world.)

"You're not my type" indeed! Now there absolutely must be pre-series Gina/Cain. There must, there must, I will write it myself if need be. Because that was absolutely "THE LAST BETRAYAL." <3

Kara as eulogist. Perfect, perfect. *grin* And layers, layers, layers. I didn't want Cain to be badly written, and all three episodes taken together make her a lot better. Wow, that was a really fast switch of loyalties there, wasn't it? I forsee Kara-Adama tension. Woooo.

Hmmm, Lee/Dee, eh? That's interesting.

Squee, they released Helo and Tyrol. That makes me happy. Poor left-out Chief, though. Awwww. Now his prison-buddy has his girlfriend back and he's left right out.

Is Billy sitting in the presidential chair?

Oh my lord, Laura is so deceptively cute. Socute.

And oh, my, Adama is so going to get his heart ripped right out, isn't he? He's so ninth-grade dorky.

If I have one complaint about this show, it is: their editorial team sucks. I would really like not to have continuity errors or, like right now, jerky cuts where jerky cuts are ineffective and even jarring. So. I'm just saying.

And actually, for this episode in particular? Their writers really fell flat. It was not overly well done. I'm kind of disappointed, honestly. Bah.
