[help me, fandom, you're my only hope]

Right, so, on the 12th I'm heading up to London for the Sarah Jane Adventures BFI preview event. They're showing the ep with the big honking spoiler in the title (though I'm assuming most people on my flist know already, haha), which is also the ep where Jo Grant returns.

I have seen shamefully little of Jo's original appearances. I'm obviously going to watch her final ep, but oh wise Whovians, which others should I see? What is quintessential Jo? What will encapsulate her for me as much as possible? *g*

I have to pop in to the BL while I'm in town, so I will probably come in after my training course, which ends at noon. So those of you who are not dedicated SJA fans, if anyone's free for coffee or something after, say 2ish, let me know?
