[the most wonderful time]

I usually really enjoy Christmas shopping, but oh, boy, this year is a royal pain. I am super disorganized to begin with, which means I've been making vague gestures in the direction of wandering around shops without much to show at all. Some of the things that I thought were great ideas - ie getting my grandfather a Grey Cup Champs tshirt - have totally not happened and now I'm worried about shipping time. The people I'm shopping for are Very Hard to buy for. Nobody wants things (this is great; I don't want things either) and it is difficult to sort gift certificates from a different city. The one confirmed thing that was on my aunt's list does not yet exist. And I have to figure out how to get anything I do buy to Vancouver Island, plus then to Edmonton for friends there with whom I do gift exchanges, and I really don't want to have to check bags during the Christmas travel season.
Plus whatever I get for my dad and his wife, I need to send their cards, like, NOW, since they're in Arizona. And I think it might be her birthday today, too - I sent a card, but I should probably call, but I'm not 100% sure of the date.
CRANKYFACE.
Maybe I will buy everyone a goat for a farm charity or something.
