My very dear Yuletide writer! Thank you so much for writing for me, first off. I'm extremely excited and I know that as long as you enjoy what you're writing, I will too! I am going to ramble a bit about my general likes and then my fandom-specific likes, but I hope that if you have an idea that doesn't quite fit with the fandom-specific thoughts that you'll run with it and write something fun for you.
In general, I like stories about awesome women. :D This doesn't mean that I just like strong women - there is a lot to be said for vulnerabilities - but complexities of character are key. Of course, if you've offered to write one of my requests, you probably understand that perfectly. I like relationshippy stories, but I would also enjoy gen or friendship fic about any of the ladies I've requested. I do like a little plot with my porn, if that's the direction you're going, but the porn part is certainly not mandatory.
I like off-panel moments, backstory that we know must have happened but never saw, angst, sex, no sex. I like both happy endings and sad endings! I love character interaction and banter and humour and snark. I like linear narrative and non-linear, experimental narrative.
I dislike embarrassment/humiliation, non-con (though I love power dynamics), stories about Epic Man Pain, poor grammar, and illlogical characterization.
Warehouse 13 - Helena "H.G." Wells
Warehouse 13 is my latest love and Helena is my newest darling, so almost anything you write about her would make me very happy. I absolutely ship her like burning with Myka, so a story about them at any point in the canon would be great. However, I would also love to read backstory about Warehouse 12 - maybe her and Wooly? I'm not too interested in learning more about Christina, though. Something about Helena's time as Emily Lake and how she remembers it would be great, as long as there's not only Emily in it but also some of Helena as herself. What I love about her is her outward arrogance covering her instability, but also her sheer brilliance and the depth of feelings she tries so hard to hide. I also love the team, so including any of the other characters - or not! - is fine. And while I don't require a holiday fic, W13 does holiday eps so well - so if you wanted to do one, that'd be fine by me!
There has been an angst-splosion in the Bering and Wells side of fandom lately, which I am not hugely into - I have a lot of feelings about Helena, but I don't want them allll to be sad ones. I should also say, though, I really, really do not want kidfic for this pairing. I've seen enough of it that - yeah, no.

The Good Wife - Kalinda Sharma/Sophia Russo
I would love to read something about Kalinda's backstory with Sophia. How did the two of them get together? How did they get to a point where they were so comfortable with each other? Kalinda looked so happy with her! Why? If you don't want to write Sophia I would be more than happy with really anything about Kalinda, particularly anything Kalinda/Alicia, but I do not want to read anything that deals in-depth with her relationship with Nick. I would enjoy something about her early days at SLG, or in Chicago: how did she build all these networks of contacts? Through the DA's office? That could be really interesting, although I'd rather there not be a lot of Peter. I will keep up to date on the show so feel free to incorporate current canon, or not, as you wish. I love Kalinda for her tough skin and the way she smiles when someone like Alicia or Sophia gets under it (apparently I have a type), and for her determination and her wide array of skills. ;)
I have to admit that as the season moves onwards I am reaching a point where I just want Kalinda to have someone take care of her a little bit. I'm pretty sure that's not really in character at this point, but backstory about how at least at some point in her life someone hugged her a lot? Might be nice. :P

Casino Royale - M
I honestly just always want fic about M being a badass. I obviously haven't seen Skyfall yet, but I certainly will before Yuletide, so if you want to write something taking that into account please do. I would love old missions that M went on, humorous fic about the paperwork she has to deal with because of Bond, angsty fic about how maybe she was a double-oh agent and how hard that was as a woman, what she did during the Cold War - really, anything, as long as she kicks ass and the fic passes the Bechdel test. If you are a spy buff and want to cross it over with really almost any other spy tv show or film, that would be awesome. I kind of ship her with Bond, but not exclusively; still, I'm more than happy to read a story that suggests that or deals with it directly. I just love the idea of feminizing the old-boys'-club of espionage networks and how much effort it must have taken her to get there.
Okay, I have now seen Skyfall, and I refuse to believe that the end happened like it did in the film. If you do write something that considers Skyfall, please, either ignore the end or do SOMETHING redemptive with it. Pretty please with a cherry on top. And I am really not interested in fic about her relationship with Silva. I have, um, some anger issues about the film. Loved a lot of it! Hated a few chunks. Ahem.
