Which TV shows did you let go of in 2011?
God. All of them except The Good Wife? Okay, that's not true, but I was semi-regularly watching Bones, House, and... probably a bunch of others until last spring or this autumn. I recently and with great prejudice gave up on Glee.
Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2011? Why?

Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2012?
I have been informed that I'll be watching Archer once my thesis is finished, and I don't think I have any choice in the matter. :P I'm also probably going to be watching the second season of Nikita.
Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?
House, for its behind-the-scenes machinations resulting in the loss of Lisa Edelstein.
Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?
Not applicable! The only thing I'm really following is TGW, which is made of awesome, and Sanctuary, which has done almost nothing to make me sad.
Which TV show impressed you the most in 2011? Why?
This has to be The Good Wife. It is continuously incredible and never predictable.
Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
I don't think there's anything on this list. I'll let go of anything if it fails enough. I just don't have time for things that I'm not enjoying in some way. Of course, my "crappy" may not be anyone else's "crappy." :P
Shows I watched and loved that aren't mentioned on this list because I started them in another year.
Um. I don't have a clue. I really pared down my non-work tv schedule this year. :P I did enjoy most of Doctor Who, though.

Your main fandom of the year?
DC Comics. I always say comics are my forever fandom, and I love it when this is proven true. Comics were definitely both fannishly and professionally my big thing this year.
Your favourite film you watched this year?
I actually didn't watch that many films this year! I really enjoyed Hanna, because it's fantastic to see a kickass girl on screen.
Your favourite book read this year?
I cannot answer that. I will tell you my favourite book read this month, which was Diana Gabaldon's The Scottish Prisoner, largely (but not solely) because it contained the line "Nothing's sacred to a man who'd rhyme 'sanguineous' with 'cunnilingus'!" - which continues to make me absolutely fall over laughing.
Your favourite tv show of the year?
Has to be The Good Wife, as that's the only one I've continued to watch all year round. It constantly amazes and delights me; the writing and acting and cinematography are all just incredible.
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Helen Magnus Sanctuary. Canadian and smart and meta-aware and genre-savvy and funny and just not smooth enough that it's kind of adorkable. Thanks, sophia_gratia! :D
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
I am having one hell of a time getting over the whole "Wonder Woman is Zeus's daughter" thing. I mean, what, we don't have enough demi-gods? We had too many clay maidens with delightfully queer origin families? Only families of blood count? I swear to god, ANGRY. The WW comic is still good enough to keep me reading, which is impressive, but I am really steamed.
Your fiction boyfriend of the year?
Um. Do I have one of these? Oh! Hells yes, Nikola Tesla off Sanctuary. He's just so delightfully snarky and not-quite-evil. And also really good at flirting with...
Your fiction girlfriend of the year?
Sanctuary's Helen Magnus, doctor of asskicking. I mean, come on. Tall, dark, and beautiful, good with guns, likes to wear leather, queer, absolutely brilliant, totally unashamed of being sexual, and when she wears soft fuzzy knitted sweaters in alternate universes I just want to cuddle the hell out of her. Love! Bonus mention to Kalinda Sharma from The Good Wife for HER FACE.
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Um, can I just pick all of The Good Wife? No? Well, here are three, then: Will and Alicia getting together in the season finale; Diane not letting Eli's manpain get the best of him; and Kalinda bringing Grace home safely.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
I'm super excited for League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Century 2009, which has JUST been announced for June. Okay, it's Moore and O'Neill, so who knows if it'll be on time, but I desperately want it to be so I can get it signed and get the third of the bookplates O'Neill does for Gosh Comics in London. Eeeee, my favourite polyamorous omnisexual immortals. <333 (I... actually, now that I'm a Sanctuary fan, I might have to reclassify favourites in that ranking.)
What else? New James Bond movie! I'm hoping Sanctuary will get a fifth season. I'm looking forward to more from the new DC comics 'verse, because I'm enjoying a fair bit about it.
