I have been keeping my fingers crossed for Diane to strike out on her own (in the way where I'd rather have them together, but if they aren't, I'm glad it's Diane making the preemptive strike), so, EEK. And which way will Alicia go? I imagine that will have a lot to do with the fallout from FINALLY learning about that voicemail! AND! Kalinda and Blake and the baseball bat!
I really have no coherent thoughts about this show, except for a vague desire to write something about its fabulous integration of all aspects of technology.
But...I would be sad if Diane left! I don't know how I feel about that at all.
Do you think she knows about the voicemail now, or is just confused? I wasn't so sure.
Blake is eeeeeevil. Seriously. He's what Kalinda would be without any conscience at all. I am intrigued by the fact that he's not a series regular, but I'm trying not to take that as a spoiler. Then again, Peter is still officially a guest star, so.
I would love to read your post about technology! I agree that they do better about incorporating it into plotlines than pretty much anybody (i.e. in a way that doesn't make me go OH MY GOD GET A FUCKING CONSULTANT).
From a character point of view I don't want Diane to leave, but I think it will do some fantastic things to the tension of the show if it happens.
I guess Alicia knows there was another voicemail, right? I don't know if she has any idea what was in it, or what she was going to say to Will, but I am guessing that they're working towards it coming out.
Yeah, basically, I have nothing but OMG BLAKE. I love that Cary is being so protective/helpful to Kalinda, though, which surprises me - both that I love and that he's doing it!
I don't want to write a post about the technology, though... I want to do a bunch of research and write a proper article. :P
I'm not sure yet! :P I would probably look at what's been done on the use of social networking/tech in real-life politics and what's been done on the integration of new technologies in television genres and see if I could marry them into something interesting. But I don't know enough about what research is out there, really!
