White Collar: ohmygod, this shoooooow. I CAN'T EVEN.
...some days I wonder how I can have so much love for a show that hasn't passed the Bechdel test once in nine episodes, but then I just go back to flailing (and to be fair, they do have amazing women who get a decent amount of agency... mostly). I also don't know HOW it's possible to be in this fandom and not love Elizabeth, because she is just light-years beyond awesome,
Elizabeth inviting Peter home for lunch just to get Neal along! Peter smacking Neal's hand away from fiddling with the buttons in the car, and Neal being a backseat driver! Neal walking the dog (that is from like five fics I've read already). HOW MUCH does this show ship the OT3? *flaily hands*
HOW is Peter so hot when he's really pissed off. HOW.
Oh Mozzie. "Mrs. Suit" indeed.
*snorfles* Peter, if Neal is trying to read double entendres into EVERYTHING YOU SAY, there might be a reason for that.
Peter has a remarkably clear signature.
See, there is no way that conversation about bribery between Peter and Neal could be construed as anything other than flirting. I mean really.
OH GOD, they KEPT the surveillance photos Peter took of El. HOW CUTE ARE THEY. He's a bit of a bad boy INDEED. *draws little hearts around them* AND HE TALKS IN HIS SLEEP.
OH Peter and El "camping" (even if CLEARLY the answer to "Where are we going to sleep tonight" should have been "with Neal") = so beyond adorable, seriously.
SEE THIS IS WHY I LOVE THE SHOW. Even if El is kind of the "dutiful wife," she's still got agency enough that she goes to Neal to get him to help Peter. AND ALSO, OT3, because she knows Neal loves Peter just as much as she does, and also, who are the two people Neal has now risked extreme additional amounts of jail time for? OH YES. Kate, the "love of his life," and PETER, BECAUSE EL ASKED HIM.
EVERYBODY LOVES PETER. (except Cruz, apparently?)
Oh MOZZIE. "You want me shirtless" INDEED.
OK, so, Neal mentioning the music box while he knows Fower's listening, and Fowler cutting it off. Does that read like Fowler not wanting other people to hear about the music box, OR, Fowler not realizing the significance of the music box because actually Peter was totally lying to Neal about it? (Look, there's actually a point in here about the so-called plot of the show!)
*snerk* "Moz" and "El." Hee.
Oh man, Neal cannot lie to Peter and it is kind of adorable. Also how much must it have pained Mozzie to be on the same side as Peter?
*flail* I LOVE THIS SHOW.
In not unrelated news, the number of White Collar porn battle ficlets I am in the middle of? Four. *facepalm*

Date: 2010-01-29 01:53 pm (UTC)"The meaning of yellow tulips has evolved somewhat, from once representing hopeless love to now being a common expression for cheerful thoughts and sunshine."
Flowers have long been used as symbols for feelings, although maybe there is a history of them being used to send secret messages?

Not too much new, but it will be interesting to see where they go with it.
