I hope what's here gives you some ideas. Don't feel you have to stick to them too closely, though; if you have a story in mind that doesn’t fit my prompts exactly, hey, go for it. Have fun, and thanks in advance for the fic.
I haven't written in any of these fandoms, but if you want to see what my stuff looks like, I'm on AO3 under kathryne.
I do not want to read: rape; explicit abuse; animal abuse or death; self-harm; kid!fic. I am okay with violence in service to the story. I'm also not interested in complete AUs (ie, coffee-shop-type AUs).
I love stories about women relying on each other. I like seeing moments in fic that give deeper meaning to moments we see on screen. I like porn; I like gen; I like ratings in between. I strongly prefer more developed stories rather than shorter vignettes strung together on a theme.
If you feel like going for some good old tropes, some of my favourites include: bedsharing; road trips; huddling for warmth; drunk/high confessions of love or makeouts (although not, you know, TOO drunk).

Judy, Violet
In a relatively recent interview, Jane Fonda said that if we were to catch up with Judy and Violet today, they’d be married and Violet would be the CEO of a Silicon Valley company: I would love to read anything about how they get to that point. I'd also enjoy a story about them moving forward and growing into new roles and responsibilities after the end of the film. You can include Doralee as support, if you want!
Yeah, I totally ship it. I know the end crawl has Judy marrying the Xerox guy or whatever – please feel free to either ignore that totally or jump past it, whatever suits the story. I really want to see her (cheesy as it sounds) continue the personal growth and recognition of her own value that begins at the end of the film. And I'd love to see that happen as Violet gets a little softer with her. Do they move out to Silicon Valley together as a platonic work duo and then things progress? Or do they rediscover each other after years of separation, and oops, they're more than just friends?
If you don't ship it, also cool! Much of the above still applies. I really want to see Violet blossom as well – although she would undoubtedly still have to fight to succeed at the office, hopefully she has a meteoric ascent and starts enjoying it more! What sort of a dot-com business would she run, anyway? Does Judy keep working with her? If not, why?
I don't mind if the story starts from or goes through a sad or upsetting point, but I'd love it if by the end there was some sort of comfort or hope. Or cuddling and smooching.
If you go the shippy route, I'd rather not see either them or their friends/family have a lot of angst over their queerness. I'm also not interested in a story that deals in depth with Violet's canonical kids or gives Judy children of her own.

Lorraine, Delphine
To start off, I do not want a fix-it story for this canon. I am happy for you to consider this an OR request, though, and write about just Lorraine or just Delphine. I'd love a story that fleshes out either of them pre-film. There's not a lot of wiggle room, but something set during the film that expands what we saw of them would also be great. And post-film - well, anything more about Lorraine, really! If you are a spy aficionado, this might be an interesting canon for a crossover: did Lorraine ever run into Judi Dench's M, whatever she was doing in the 80s? Or Emma Peel?
I know Delphine's death angered a lot of people, but I loved the film and felt that given the genre the death of the love interest was pretty much inevitable. Lorraine was affected by it in a way that she wasn't affected by anything else in the film (I think there's a good argument to be made that she was sleeping with Gasciogne for work reason, but she was with Delphine because she actually wanted to be); she was honest with Delphine in a way she wasn’t at any other time. I don’t want a fic that erases any of that.
I'd love to read something from Delphine's POV that explores how she feels about Lorraine and the work she does to help her throughout the film. Does Delphine already know she's queer - has she been with other women, or does she just completely fall for Lorraine? What did she know about Lorraine - having read her file, etc - before seeing her in person? How did Lorraine live up to Delphine's preconceptions?
I'd also love to read about Lorraine as a queer woman in a man's game running heterosexual honeytraps. It would be great to see more of her thought processes about Delphine - why does she choose to sleep with her, how does it become more (if it does - though I think it does, I'd love to see other takes on it, as long as they don’t completely erase Lorraine's queerness)? What sort of non-professional sexual history does Lorraine have pre-film, and how does Delphine's death affect her post-film?
I feel like this canon is open to a lot of potential sex-wise, if you want to write sex: I would enjoy anything that fits the vibe, is consensual, and does not involve bloodplay (for ex: BDSM, lingerie, leather, exhibitionism, and probably more feel like they would suit very nicely; soft snuggles are also good!).
I'd also really enjoy reading a more standard case-fic plot about either of them. Canon levels of violence are fine, but so is less description. I'd rather see period-typical attitudes towards homosexuality than have that ignored or treated with 2017's attitudes.
October Daye series – Seanan McGuire
Amandine, The Luidaeg, Quentin
I honestly just want to read about the Luidaeg interacting with people who are not Toby (much as I love her). The Luidaeg is overall a pretty tragic figure, so this doesn't have to be warm and fuzzy, but if you do want to write a lighter piece that would be great too.
I'd love to see backstory or anything set during the series that builds on what we know of Amandine and their relationship (speaking of tragic...). Did she manage to track Amandine down in the background while Toby was off trying to get herself disemboweled at any point in time? What sort of interactions – besides what we've seen – did she have with Amandine when August was lost, or before? Did they ever get along?
I'd also love to see more of her relationship with Quentin: the times they spend taste-testing San Francisco's most ridiculous donuts, the things she tells him about how to get past the loss of someone you love. She must know who Quentin is long before Toby does: do they talk about that, does he know she knows, what does she think of him as a future ruler.
I'd rather not have a story that's completely introspection, but if you want to do something that focuses on the Luidaeg's backstory other than with the characters I've mentioned above, that would be fine too. Her romantic history? Wishes she still regrets having to grant? Terrifying road trips she has taken? I'm not really interested in more Simon or Tybalt, but basically anyone else in the books could be fun, if you're keen!
