To Everything There Is A Season (La Femme Nikita, Madeline) *
This is MY GIFT MINE and I am just beyond asquee about it. I suggested a number of things I would like to see expanded on about Madeline and my author ran with almost all of them, which was absolutely beyond my wildest expectations. My author gave me Madeline as a child, already calculating and planning; Madeine as an operative, learning and applying lessons she'd teach Nikita; Madeline/Operations in canon and perfectly in character; Madeline/Operations post-canon, a fix-it without being mushy and fluffy; Madeline and the inside of her head, always, dispassionate and smart and knowing herself and everyone around her and absolutely terrifyingly precise. I.LOVE.IT.
Making Book (White Collar, June, Mozzie) - a BRILLIANT June and Mozzie fic, in which they chat about Neal, we get great June backstory, and June is perceptive where Mozzie is... not.
An Old Story (White Collar, Neal/Elizabeth) - I enjoy that El gets to outfox Neal! It's also great to see a pre-OT3 setup that's Neal/Elizabeth rather than Peter/Neal.
And anyone who's ever had a heart (White Collar, Neal/Peter/Elizabeth) * - oh, oh, oh, an amazing look at the way that Neal wove himself into Peter and El's life from long before the beginning of the series and until long after.
Feint, Counterfeint (White Collar, Neal/Peter/Elizabeth) * - this is just perfect - Peter being unsure, and Neal and El knowing him so well.
Classic, in Progress (White Collar, Neal&Peter&Elizabeth) - a great friendship fic! I love watching El and Neal handle Peter, hee.
Descent (Philip Pullman - His Dark Materials, Mrs Coulter/Lord Asriel) * - ooooh, this is AWESOME - a fab look at the Coulter/Asriel relationship from its inception to, well, after its end.
Greater Lights (Jacqueline Carey - Kushiel's Legacy, Melisande/Phedre) - this is a fantastic look at the many ways in which Phedre and Melisande could have met, spun out at the end of the first trilogy.
Hidden Deep Inside (Ghostbusters movie, team!fic) * - what a GREAT gen piece, sent between the two movies. Gozer returns! sort of.
Easy as (Glee, Brittany/Santana) * - this is a great backstory for Santana, plus perfect Brittany, as they decide whether sex maybe ought to be dating.
My Soul to Take (Gone With the Wind, Melly, Rhett) - a lovely missing piece for the two of them, beautifully in character.
The Dauntless Crusader (Mary Poppins (movie), Jane Banks) - this is a great look at Jane's life after Mary Poppins, as well as an interesting cultural study in many ways.
Impropriety (Love Actually, David/Natalie) * - this cracked me UP. A look at Nat navigating the public face of being the PM's girlfriend.
Can't Steal Happiness (Laurie R King - Mary Russell, Russell, Holmes) * - a lovely pre-Oxford training session.
Gifts (Bond - Casino Royale 'verse, M/Bond) - M and Bond go Christmas shopping. No, really, it's good!
If Headaches Persist, Shoot Your Agent (Bond - Casino Royale 'verse - Bond/M) - Bond is a headache, but he's M's headache.
The Way to a Woman's Heart (The Addams Family (movie), Morticia/Gomez) - Morticia reflects on her favourite torture implements
Follies (Slings & Arrows, Geoffrey) - Politics, idealism, and musicals. Oh Geoffrey.
By Way of Explanation (Slings & Arrows, Ellen) - a lovely look at Ellen and how she managed to live with the force of nature that is Geoffrey
Ingenue (Slings & Arrows, Kate, Geoffrey) - a lovely post-canon ficlet, in which Kate pays it back.
A Thousand Furlongs of Sea (Slings & Arrows, Geoffrey, Anna) - um. It's a cracktastic pirate AU. Need I say more?
Beelzebub Has A Devil Put Aside For Me (Secret Six, Deadshot, Scandal) - just a brilliant little moment between Scandal and Deadshot after "Unhinged."
A Little Less Conversation (Mr and Mrs Smith, John Smith/Jane Smith) - a brilliant post-canon story.
"Ook," Said the Librarian (Thursday Next, among others, gen) - this is... hysterical. It captures Fforde's style and mixes in some Discworld, some #yuletide, and some 16th/17th C RPF, plus some authorship controversies.
