OK, I haven't actually read the finale spoilers floating around, just discussion of them, but if they're true I would just like to say that the show is going to suck so goddamn hard.
OK, given that the show is now "Battlestar Galactica, or, How Kara Thrace Is A Special Special Snowflake," I could accept either Tigh or Sam being a Cylon. With Sam, there's the "Playing on her specialness and sending a Cylon in to keep watch argument," while with Tigh there's the "She never liked him anyways and clearly it's because her specialness clued her in" argument. But you can't make both, because the Tigh argument invalidates the idea of her hubby dearest being a Cylon spy and her not noticing.
I would be happy with Tory being a Cylon, because that can be played either the "Sneaking a mole into Roslin's office" way or, if Roslin does turn out to be a Cylon, it can be played in the "Roslin gathering her people around her way." That one could work. But making Tyrol a Cylon after that creepy creepy scene of Laura's ultimate sketchitude last week? That says bad things about the plot arc, and it also means that Tyrol's kid is a hybrid, which is either a brilliant move or an idiotic one. And I am leaning towards idiotic.
Anyways. I am not best pleased, and I am also going to be late to class, so if anyone wants to link me and/or discuss please do so in comments.
