There's something amusing about having a plot-related discussion with a friend and only afterwards thinking about what it would look like from the outside. I mean: "Do I really want to give [name] the syph? I am a terrible person. [...] Maybe instead of giving [name] an STD I'll give him a horrible flu for the flight and then a case of traveller's stomach. Even though he deserves worse."
