tellitslant: (csi - cath - huh)
Am back in the UK! Boy, I really don't want to get out of bed, though. So sleepy. I made it out of Edmonton just in time, given the current weather, eh?

Less than twelve hours after I landed, I was already buying theatre tickets, which I think is a new record. I will be seeing the Catherine Tate-David Tennant "Much Ado About Nothing" on 10 June - there is a large crowd of fangirls attending, and we're all scattered all over the theatre, so if you were considering it (*cough* [personal profile] askygoneonfire *cough*), book for that date!

Tennant needs to stop doing stuff with amazing co-stars - I don't dislike him at all, but I wouldn't likely go see something just because he's in it, and yet this will be the second play of his I've seen (I saw his "Hamlet" at Stratford with [livejournal.com profile] shinysassenach). Don't get me wrong, he's very good, in a way Doctor Who didn't always let him showcase... but there are people I would be much more likely to see multiple times deliberately. *g* I am extremely squeeful about seeing Tate's Beatrice, though. Okay, and Tennant's Benedick. Last time I saw "Much Ado" was with Zoe Wanamaker and Simon Beale, so a) I have very high expectations (that production had one of the best stage designs I have ever seen... right up there with the RSC "Hamlet," come to think) and b) I am really looking forward to how different this will have to be.

Okay, getting up now. How about now. Or now?
