Okay, I don't usually do this, but loads of people are linking to their Dear Author letters and begging sneakily for treats, and since I can now play on your sympathy and say that my request went out on the pinch-hit list yesterday, sniff sob, my letter is here. I am done alll my holiday shopping, but I still need a good card for my grandfather. Any ideas, Edmontonians? Hallmark is disappointing me. Now I get to do all my wrapping - which I enjoy possibly more than is good for me. Ribbons! Bows! Shiny paper!

And then, um, writing. Yes. that is the plan. Also possibly cookies for breakfast.
