My very dear Yuletide writer! Thank you so much for writing for me, first off. I'm extremely excited and I know that as long as you enjoy what you're writing, I will too! I am going to ramble a bit about my general likes and then my fandom-specific likes, but I hope that if you have an idea that doesn't quite fit with the fandom-specific thoughts that you'll run with it and write something fun for you.

In general, I like stories about awesome women. :D This doesn't mean that I just like strong women - there is a lot to be said for vulnerabilities - but complexities of character are key. Of course, if you've offered to write one of my requests, you probably understand that perfectly. I like relationshippy stories, but I would also enjoy gen or friendship fic about any of the ladies I've requested. I do like a little plot with my porn, if that's the direction you're going.

I like off-panel moments, backstory that we know must have happened but never saw, angst, sex, no sex. I like both happy endings and sad endings! I love character interaction and banter - a fic full of talking heads can be just as awesome as a fic full of porn, right? I like linear narrative and non-linear, experimental narrative.

I dislike embarrassment/humiliation, non-con (though I love power dynamics), stories about Epic Man Pain, poor grammar, and illlogical characterization.

Batwoman - Kate Kane, Maggie Sawyer, Renee Montoya
Although I ship Kate/Renee like crazy, I find the idea of the Kate/Maggie relationship really interesting, especially since Maggie knows Kate used to go out with Renee. Something to do with any of that, or with how Batwoman's relationship with the GCPD affects Kate's relationship with Maggie, would be really interesting. Will Maggie ever find out who Kate is? Will Renee come back (and if so, is she still the Question)? Appropriate tags here might be comics: that's a bat*woman*, comics: where'd your face go?, fic: dcu.

Gotham Central - Crispus Allen, Maggie Sawyer, Renee Montoya
I don't know a lot about Maggie's background in Superman, but some backstory for her would be really interesting. How did she - and Toby - deal with the transition to Gotham? Did she and Renee ever talk again about being lesbians in the GCPD? A casefile would also be neat. I like all of the other characters, so including any of them would be fine, but the three I've flagged should be among the main characters. I love Cris and Renee's reationship, so a quiet moment or a case involving them would be great. I wouldn't mind some gen Renee fic set during the series, as I think there's a lot that goes unexplored, especially with Daria. Casino Royale - James Bond, M
I looooove M. It must have taken one hell of a career to get to the top position! How did she do it? Was she ever a double-0 agent? I would also love to see something about the Bond/M relationship - I do kind of ship them, but something more gen would be perfectly lovely as well. I'm interested in her spy life more than her home life, but some glimpses of that could be neat too!

Good Wife - Alicia Florrick, Diane Lockhart, Kalinda Sharma, Sophia Russo
Loads of choices here! :P I'd love some Diane backstory - I think she's the one about whom we really know the least. Tell me about the formation of the firm, or her relationship with Will, or some of the cases she fought as a young lawyer. I'd also love to see a look at the Kalinda/Sophia relationship, either shippy or gen. How did they get together in the first place? How is working together without sleeping together suiting them? I would aso love some Alicia/Kalinda, either unrequited (I totally believe Kalinda has a massive crush on Alicia) or future-fic where they make up somehow. My Good Wife tag is tv: that's a chicago defense.

I regularly keep up with both Batwoman and Good Wife, so feel free to incorporate any new canon that appears between now and the deadline. Or not! Whatever floats your boat. :P

I hope some of this has given you an idea or two, but if not, feel free to ignore any of it except, preferably, my dislikes. I will just be so happy to get a fic for meeeeee that whatever you write will be fabulous, and thank you again! :D
