tellitslantI have so much flail I need to post about it quickly before I re-watch and get an actual coherent commentary out. Also I watched it on iPlayer and the stream wasn't that great so I want to see it in higher def. But a couple things I cannot hold back on.
Not-spoilery:
First, oh Doctor, did you really just tell Nixon he needs to tape everything that happens in his office? Best throwaway line EVER EVER EVER.
Second, holy SHIT River is badass. HOW BADASS IS RIVER? VERY BADASS. With the diving and the shooting and the smirking and the flirting and the total action-movie star-ing and Alex Kingston just got like exponentially hotter and I didn't think that was possible. Homahgah.
Slightly more spoilery:
I don't understand why they keep hitting the line of River and the Doctor being temporally backwards. I mean, okay, this is only from the characters themselves and they don't necessarily know the truth, but once you start repeating and repeating that it hits a point where contradicting it is a bit weird, hm? I choose to believe that was not at all their last kiss and you can't make me think otherwise.
