Guys, how is there not yet a WHAT THE FUCK post for Doctor Who? Because, really, WHAT THE FUCK?

Okay so. WHAT THE FUCK.

So Amy is pregnant at the end of Episode One, then we have three months of running around America and then she is not pregnant. So the Amy-swap probably happened there? But that doesn't explain the Time Child from the opening two-parter.

I didn't even clue in, when the Flesh-Doctor appeared, that he could be an answer to the Doctor-death from Ep 1. And didn't he say that they could be reconstituted?

I am curious to see if there will be fic about a flesh-River somehow appearing. :P

And now I am just, this is SO OUT THERE I have no idea what the reveal about River is going to be, because I am officially giving up on trying to predict what happens in Moffat's brain.

I really am just too busy going OMG WTF that I have little to say about the rest of the ep. I loved the Two Doctors and the previous Doctors being channelled through the Flesh-Doctor, and liked that there was some balance between gagners and 'real' people surviving, and I enjoyed it much more than last week's, but DUDE WTF is my default state right now.

I don't think that's when the Amy swap happened, actually--I think it must have happened before. Amy is pregnant and experiencing contractions, which she can still feel in her flesh body because, ow. She feels the stomach cramps--the contractions--before the three-month gap, when she tells the Doctor that she thinks she's pregnant. So we have no idea.

re:River, yeah, no idea what's going on there at all. Well, ideas, but based off of spoilers I've heard around so I can't share. XD

You're right, I forgot Amy had a cramp at the end of 6.01. INTERESTING. And even more WTF. Does that mean Rory was living with a ganger? What the hell!

Someone else has since pointed out to me that it's possible she was kidnapped by the mailman (unlikely, I think), or when she went to the bathroom in the white house and encountered the Silence (more likely, I think). So not quite the entire series, but the vast majority of it...

Alternatively, [livejournal.com profile] aheartthen pointed out to me that the cloaky-guys from the prequel look remarkably similar to the shadows that can be seen lurking in the background of TPO/TBB (I can't remember which and don't have the reference photos on hand) that we've been assuming are the Silence. Whatever they are, it seems clear that they have been following Amy for a very, very long time. It's possible that they kidnapped her very shortly after she restored the universe or, of course, at any point between series 5 and 6.

Which brings me to something else. (OMG THEORIES WTF). The only argument that most people have presented against my feeling that being conceived in the TARDIS/carried their during early development would make a child a Human Time Lord (other evidence: we know that there are Gallifreyans that are not Time Lord and that their place as a Time Lord relates in some way to the Time Vortex, which is partially in the TARDIS), ANYWAY, the only argument has been that if so, why didn't any other companions have Time-headed children, which is pretty easily countered by the fact that no other companion had a child while in the TARDIS. :/

I think it's also important to note the ease with which Amy could be--and was--tracked down by the Doctor's enemies, and Blue Guy's mention of hearing rumors of who's child they had stolen. A lot of people are saying that this obviously means it's the Doctor's, but I think it far more likely that it's the child of his most well-known companion--the one they specifically hunted down and studied in order to entrap the Doctor. And then there's the bit in the Lodger where the humans are not enough to pilot the ~mystery ship of the Silence, but a Gallifreyan Time Lord is too much--mightn't a human Time Lord be just right?

Okay yeah. Doctor Who makes me crazy and I am fully prepared to shout "Ignore all my previous theories!" at the drop of a hat. But that's the scenario I have built in my mind. In addition, some super spoilery thoughts based on the Times Review:
