(The instructions on the door - "PULL TO OPEN" - refer to the 'phone caddy door panel, not the lockable equipment storage/standing area on the right-hand side, which was always hinged to open inwards. If he'd bothered to re-watch the first part of Logopolis before penning his episode he wouldn't have screwed up.)
