Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. Any BBC Doctor Who novels involving Sarah Jane, either Romana, or Leela as companions (I currently have Bullet Time, Island of Death, and Amorality Tale). Used, new, whatever.
2. Handwritten letters. Love 'em. Bonus points for cool stationery, but not necessary. ;)
3. Copies of old-school Who episodes involving companions other than the above - I have all of Sarah, both Romanas, and Leela downloaded, but good stuff from other eras would be teh win.
4. Music. Either a physical CD or an uploaded one, a character mix, a random mix, a "stuff that reminds me of you" mix, whatever. New stuff is awesome.
5. OK, here's one that I really want that I can be honest with myself about how I'm never going to get off my ass to do it. I really want a Who LJ moodtheme that mixes old and new school and has Sarah and Romana(s) and Jack and Mickey and Three and Four and Ten and maybe Nine and no Rose. Oh, and some Daleks or Cybermen and Jackie and maybe even Yvonne. You know, like that. Wouldn't say no to some Torchwood people either. I'm thinking size-wise probably around my current theme - not too too much bigger.
6. Fic! If you're on my flist, you probably know what I like, but really, anything that's for me is going to be lovely.
7. Iconses! I find I am woefully low on gleeful icons. I would also like some that are not particularly fannish. Ooh, and I would give a lot for icons of Victoria or Meg from due South.
8. Random candy in the mail! I got completely addicted to blackcurrant stuff in the UK this summer, so stuff like that, or other cool stuff. Mmm candy. Preferably not stuff that will get squished.
9. Feedback. Specifically, concrit. This is me asking. In email or just in LJ comments (all fic is tagged).
