[emotions of yuletide]

Tragedy: so many things on the Yuletide list I want to request/offer but haven't finished watching!

Confusion: "Canadian provinces (Anthropomorfic)"... is a Yuletide fandom? I DON'T EVEN. And now I'm thinking about it.

Distress: Characters under "RPF - 20th/21st C Politics" include Ralph Klein, Stephen Harper, and Stockwell Day. OH GOD, BRAIN BLEACH, PLEASE. (Who wants to write fic about Klein? What kind of fic could possibly BE written about Klein? Please don't answer these questions!)

Ambivalence: Only offering up to 10 fandoms? Hm. (I almost never offer 'any' characters, which makes the 'bucket offer' difficult for me.)

Sadness: How come the "RPF - Doctor Who" category doesn't include Alex Kingston? Um, not that I'd write that. Really.

Glee: YULETIDE YAY.

...I'm on campus working very hard on my thesis. Yes.

I am kind of hoping it changes back for next year!

I will say that one thing I like is limiting the number of fandoms people can offer! I believe that can only have a positive impact on the quality of the stories.

Well, except that in practice they're not REALLY putting a limit on that. People can still offer as many fandoms as they want in the "bucket" offer, as long as they're willing to offer "any" characters in those offers.

Sigh.

The changes I liked were being able to specify tags for things, though it remains to be seen how much of an effect that will have on the actual matching results.
