Nine years ago I posted my first post to LJ.* Nine years. I was finishing high school.

(and I can't believe, speaking of, that I'm still in school, after nine years...)

Since then, I have probably posted more days than not; I have met amazing people; I have slept on your floors and couches and beds and you've slept on mine. Without LJ my life would undoubtedly look a hell of a lot different, so thanks to all of you who've made it so awesome.

And now I'm moving to Dreamwidth, so, um, follow me over. I'll be crossposting for sure, and I'm trying cross-commenting, at least for now. If you're on my LJ flist, you should have Open ID access to DW; tell me if you don't and I'll figure out how to fix it. Also, if you crosspost and consolidate comments, let me know, as I may take you off my LJ flist.

Here's to a bold new era, or something. ;)

I have had a DW for a while, but I haven't been using it, though I have been reading my circle. Now I'll be primary-posting and reading from DW and crossposting to LJ.

I'm basically making the same change you did not long ago: shifting to crossposting from DW and using it as my primary site, rather than journalling at LJ and backing up my DW on occasion. So I have had a journal here, but now I'll be actually using it, and crossposting.
