I love the way you reference her history and childhood, because it really drives home just how much of Kitty's life has been growing up an X-Person, the years and years she's had to develop layers of complication regarding Emma. Your voice for her is just right, a grown woman in the place where she was once a child, dealing with inappropriate sexual feelings. There's so much going on here that I can hardly parse it all.
And the bit about her waking up and finding herself having phased through the bed or through the floors -- fantastic. Just right to drive her intangibility and sense of lack of control home.
